THE GARDEN ASSIGNMENT

$ 32.00

Children journey with Arkoe back to the Garden of Eden, where God gave Adam and Eve their very first assignment: caring faithfully for what belonged to Him. Through story, discussion, hands-on building, and real engineering challenges, kids discover that God has entrusted them with their own assignments too — and that every act of faithful care, big or small, honors Him.

Description

Module 1 • Lesson 4: The Garden Assignment

Warrior Truth: God gave me an assignment and a purpose.

What if every chore, every responsibility, every “can you take care of this?” in your child’s life was actually part of something bigger?

In this StoryForge™ lesson, Arkoe returns to guide children through Genesis 1:28–30 — the moment God gave Adam and Eve their very first job: caring for the garden and everything in it. Kids discover that the garden and the animals never belonged to Adam; they belonged to God, and Adam was simply trusted to care for them well. That’s stewardship — and it’s still exactly what God asks of each of us today.

Through story, guided discussion, hands-on creation, discovery activities, and real engineering challenges, children connect Adam’s ancient assignment to their own everyday world: their room, their pet, their friendships, their time, their gifts. They learn that faithfulness in small things is never small to God — and they leave with a declaration to carry that truth home.

Why It Matters: Stewardship isn’t a punishment — it was part of God’s good design from the very beginning. This lesson helps children see that everything entrusted to them, from a pet to a friendship to their own gifts, is an opportunity to honor the One who gave it.

“God gave me an assignment. God gave me a purpose. I will faithfully follow Him.”
